On Sunday, September 8, 2024, Pender had a spiritually enriching combined service at Pender United Methodist Church where Pastor Bruce Johnson preached on “Blessing God,” which drew from the powerful texts of 1 John 1:9, Ephesians 1:1-14 and John 4:5-26.

During Greeting Time, the musicians presented a beautiful new setting of *"Shalom to You,"* composed by our Director of Music, Patrick King. This fresh arrangement in E minor was brought to life by an ensemble featuring Heidi Jacobs on piano, Abe Garver on cello, AJ Rios on percussion, and Jane McKee on flute.

This touching performance blends rich harmonies with soothing instrumentation, offering a moment of peace and reflection. We hope this unique setting of *Shalom* brings a sense of calm and connection to all who listen.

Experience the powerful rendition of "Same Power" by Jeremy Camp and Jason Ingram, beautifully performed by our talented choir. Accompanied by Heidi Jacobs on piano, Abe Garver on cello, and AJ Rios on drums, this performance is sure to uplift and inspire.
