On Sunday, May 30, while Pastor Will White was on renewal leave, we deviated from the worship series titled When the Spirit Moves. Rev. Dr. Michelle Holmes Chaney preached at the 9am, 11:15am, and 1pm services. Her text was 1 John 4:7-12. Her title was “Beloved Community”. In a sentence, she was talking about how a church becomes the kind of community where, “everyone is thought of as being a child of God”.
