At 9:00 pm on Christmas Eve, Pender hosted a traditional candlelight service of Lessons and Carols.

Music was provided jointly by Traditional and Common Ground teams both services on Christmas Eve!

This night is about the tradition, about the familiar, about feeling at home in this newly renovated sanctuary. It seems that with this year’s dinner theater and the text from Luke this year that we can’t get enough of the shepherds. As they are among the first witnesses of the miracle, their presence is a clue to the meaning of this mystery.
