Pastor Bruce was away with family for daughter Anna’s graduation from a Master’s program. Stan Kurzeja brought the message based on Acts 1:15-26.

The hymns led by Brian Stevenson, accompanied by Heidi Jacobs on piano, Sean Wittmer on violin and sung by the congregation included All Hail the Power of Jesus Name, My Jesus I Love Thee, and As a Fire is Meant for Burning.

“Meditation from Thaïs" by Jules Massenet was played on the violin by Sean Wittmer for the offertory, accompanied on piano by Heidi Jacobs.
