November brings a special holiday
whereby we stop and think and pray
on the many blessings we have received this year
and can celebrate with much good cheer
for health and hearth, our family and friends
and to think on where our paths have been
and also we might look ahead
to think on good deeds we may choose to spread
to make things better for someone we know
or even for strangers who may be feeling low
Thanksliving may just fill the bill
of helping each of us feel fulfilled
after all we only travel here for a short spell
