Dr. Nabeel Jabbour comes from Lebanon and lived with his family in Egypt with The Navigators for 15 years before coming to Colorado in 1991. Since 1997 he and his family have been US citizens. Although he comes from a Christian background, as he studied for a doctorate in Islamics, he learned to stand in the shoes of Muslims and to see the world through their eyes. In the past Dr. Jabbour taught at several seminaries in North America and other parts of the world. Since 2016, Dr. Jabbour has been teaching a course on Islam and Geopolitics of the Middle East.
Dr. Jabbour is a million miler and has visited most of the Islamic countries in the world. Because he has lived in the United Sates since 1991, he has come to understand both worlds of Arab and Muslim on one hand and the American and Christian world on the other. He has written many books on this subject.
Today, Nabeel and his wife, Barbara, are involved in a personal ministry they call "Polishing and Equipping the Saints for Life and Ministry". Transforming Truths summarize their journey since 2019 as they have been Zooming with friends by reading books together and sharing in Bible studies.
