"Character Matters" at Pender Worship Service

Sunday July 27, 2025, the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost, please join us at Pender United Methodist Church for a meaningful and inspiring worship service. Pastor Bruce Johnson will preach a sermon titled "Character Matters", drawing from Genesis 13:1–18 and Luke 17:20–33 to explore how integrity, humility, and faithfulness shape our walk with God.
We'll also hear a brief and heartfelt recap from Jane McKe* about the recent youth mission trip to Philippi, West Virginia.
As part of the service’s musical offering, Sean Whitmer will perform “Allemande” from JS Bach’s Partita in D Minor on violin, accompanied by Heidi Jacobs on piano—a beautiful moment of classical reflection and worship.
