Missions Update, February 10, 2022

February 10, 2022

Missionaries give Thanks to the Lord. Pablo and Claudette M. sent greetings from Paraguay.

“2021 was not easy for anyone.  Many people lost their jobs, family, friends and others lost their lives.  I (Pablo) had a serious health problem which took me urgently to the hospital.

I had a bleeding ulcer with complications. Thanks be to God for the immediate and effective treatment, I’m fine now.  God has been faithful to me, my family, brothers and friends who faced struggles.”  Their children organized a special celebration and to give thanks to God for Pablo’s 70 years of life, 45 years of marriage, and 53 years of pastoral ministry.

Also an update from the Manderfields’ in Columbia. They have been trying for many months to get their Christian school approved by the many different departments of the government.

Finally after many meetings and over 2000 pages of documents, it is looking hopeful that it will be approved  and they can move on to the next step of accreditation.  They give all the glory to God.   Let’s join both of these missionary couples in giving thanks to God’s faithfulness in difficult times.
