“Thanksgiving Celebration” | Pender’s Joy Ringers
Published October 1, 2026
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, Pender United Methodist Church’s Joy Ringers, under the direction of Brian Stevenson, opened worship with “Thanksgiving Celebration” by Michael Helman.
This lively handbell prelude features a flashy fanfare opening and incorporates two beloved hymn tunes:
🔔 St. George’s, Windsor — George Elvey
🔔 Nun danket alle Gott (Now Thank We All Our God) — Johann Crüger
A joyful celebration of thanksgiving through the beautiful sound of handbells!
