I’m Gonna Sing When the Spirit Says Sing

The Pender congregation closed worship on Sunday, August 23, 2026 with the joyful and spirited song “I’m Gonna Sing When the Spirit Says Sing.”

Led by Patrick King, Director of Music Ministries, the congregation was accompanied by a wonderful ensemble featuring:

This lively final hymn was a joyful reminder to listen for the movement of the Holy Spirit and to respond with praise. As we left worship, we carried with us the invitation to let our faith be heard—not only through our voices, but through the way we live, love, and serve throughout the week.

“I’m gonna sing when the Spirit says sing!”
