Buy a Christmas Tree, Feed the Hungry!
Starting on Saturday November 27th, buy a freshly-cut Christmas tree from Vale United Methodist Church in Oakton (the little white church on the Corner of Vale and Fox Mill Roads), and your purchase will provide, on average,100 life-saving meals for hungry children and families around the world.
For the eleventh straight year, proceeds from Vale Church’s tree sale will be donated to the global relief organization Rise Against Hunger www.riseagainsthunger.org, as well as being used for local anti-hunger efforts here in Fairfax County.
Wreaths, pine garlands and tree stands are also for sale, as well as opportunities to help sponsor a tree for a family in need. Enjoy Christmas Carols and cookies while you shop for the perfect tree for your Christmas home.
Hours are:
Saturday November 27th: 11am to 5pm
Sundays: 11am to 5pm
Monday-Friday: 6pm to 9pm.
Saturday December 4th & 11th: 9am to 9pm
Saturday December 18th: 9am to 6pm
