Pender Hill School
I feel I am very blessed to be a part of Pender Hill School. My oldest son came here over twenty years ago, I’ve taught in the Mother’s Day Out and in the Preschool for over 16 years, and last year I became the Assistant Administrator to the Preschool.
I have been involved in Christian education for 20 years and enjoy serving God, by working with people to help them grow in their walk with Him. I am a missionary at heart and spend most of my off time learning about and planning mission trips. I am a Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church, a trained Stephen Minister, and one of my most favorite things to do is share about Christ’s love with the children and youth of the church. After graduating from High School, I attended Community College for a brief time and have spent many hours studying and training to be a Spiritual Leader in the Church.
The preschool is a wonderful place to share God’s love with the children and their families. I am reminded every morning when I hear sweet voices and little feet running down the hall, that Christ calls us to teach and love His little ones for Him.
I know God is alive at Pender because...
I have seen God’s fingerprint all over the ministries of Pender, with new ideas that grow from prayer and team work.
I have come to understand the meaning of church family through the people here, with their caring and thoughtful ways. They have been there for me when times have been hard and helped me though.
Why Come to Pender?
Because of the wonderful fellowship with a group of people who display a great love for our Lord.
